Fans who attended the Jacksonville Jaguars game versus the Indianapolis Colts at Wembley Stadium on Sunday October 2, 2016 enjoyed the first of three NFL games played in London this season. And they showed tremendous support for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Bud Light Good Sport Designated Driver Challenge and the Budweiser message – Give a Damn. Don’t Drive Drunk. Fans who pledged to never drive drunk autographed a responsibility wall and received a free souvenir photo.
Every photograph taken was posted on Facebook with the hashtag #ResponsibleJags. Each post earned the Jaguars an “extra point” (1 point) in the competition. The Bud Light Good Sport Designated Driver Challenge winner will be the team with the most points at the end of the season. Click here to see the Challenge Standings.
The Jaguars are also participating in the Responsibility Bowl, a league-wide tournament encouraging responsible fan behavior with respect to alcohol. The Jaguars face the Seattle Seahawks in Round 2. See how the two teams stack up on Fans Don’t Let Fans Drive Drunk.
US DOT / NHTSA 2015 NATIONAL DATA:
• In 2015, 10,265 people were killed as a result of alcohol-related (BAC > 0.08) car crashes, an increase of 3.2% from the 9,943 fatalities in 2014.
• Many, if not most of those lives would have been saved if people did not drive when they were impaired by alcohol or if they used sober, designated drivers or if they simply wore their seat belts.
• Statistics and research clearly show that 21-34 year old males are the demographic most likely to be involved in an automobile crash
