National Beer Wholesalers Association and TEAM Coalition

NBWA joined TEAM Coalition in 2009. The two organizations have worked together to bring TEAM’s alcohol management training and fan education programs to beer distributors across the United States. These distributors have been crucial in promoting responsibility in their respective communities.

TEAM Coalition was featured in the following video produced at the 2015 NBWA Convention in Las Vegas.

    Responsible NASCAR Fans Rewarded at the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

    • July 21, 2019 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway
    • Miller Lite, Amoskeag Beverages and Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management (TEAM) Coalition partnered to promote responsible drinking and traffic safety
    • 288 fans made the pledge to be a designated driver for their group. All of them had the opportunity to receive a free souvenir photo, instant prizes and a chance to be selected as the Designated Driver of the Race.
    • “We are very proud of the great beers we sell for all of the NASCAR fans to consume,” said Ed Murphy, General Manager and Vice President of Sales, Amoskeag Beverages LLC. “However, along with that comes great responsibility. We thank all of you for choosing a designated driver and look forward to seeing you all at the track again in September.”

    At the 2019 World Series Game 3 at Nationals Park, representatives from Capital Eagle joined the Nationals Responsible Fan for the Season on the warning track along with the Budweiser Clydesdales.

    • Linda Washington was selected from the 15,396 Nationals fans who pledged to be responsible this season as the Nationals Responsible Fan for the Season and grand prize winner of the Responsibility Has Its Rewards sweepstakes
    • Washington Nationals were World Series Champions

    • 544 fans pledged to be responsible
    • Iris Brignoni, NASCAR Responsible Fan for the Season attended the NASCAR Championship race as the grand prize winner of the Responsibility Has Its Rewards sweepstakes.
    • 11,755 NASCAR fans pledged to be responsible at races all season long
    • 8,109 NASCAR fans made the pledge online
