Board of Directors News: April 2021

  • Approved Membership Committee tiered membership proposal. Proposal will be shared with membership. Membership will vote on proposal during June meeting.
  • Candidate for Director-at-Large position will be announced in May. Membership will vote on candidate at June meeting.
  • Logo redesign options shared with Board. Marketing & Communications committee voting now. Final decision will be shared with Board in May. Full membership will vote in June.
  • All committee members will receive satisfaction surveys in April. Please provide feedback so that we can continue to improve how the organization operates. Results will be reviewed by Board in May and presented to membership at June membership meeting.

Busch NA RHIR Sweepstakes

NASCAR fans are racing over to BUSCHNA.WIN to take the responsible fan pledge. For the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday 4/10/21, Kevin Harvick’s #4 Ford was specially painted with Busch NA for the race as a reminder to all NASCAR fans that Responsibility Has Its Rewards. Busch NA and TEAM Coalition partnered to reward NASCAR fans for being responsible with the chance to win a Kevin Harvick autographed 2021 #4 diecast replica car.

Director of Stadium Development and Operations
Las Vegas Raiders

Chloe Janfaza is the Director of Stadium Development and Operations for the Las Vegas Raiders. Her event management experience extends through three major sports leagues – NFL, MLB, and NBA. As a member of the Stadium Operations department, she oversees guest services and training committees for the club and works with stadium partners to uphold best practices during all events at Allegiant Stadium. Chloe became a TEAM trainer in 2016 and a Master TEAM trainer in 2020. She has certified more than 100 employees.

Do you want to become a certified TEAM Trainer? Or maybe you need to get recertified? TEAM has virtual Instructor Development Program workshops on the calendar.


Priority projects for the Training Committee include:

  • New training database is live – click here to login and check it out!
  • TEAM has submitted application to achieve approval from California as a provider of Responsible Beverage Service Training under the revised guidelines which go into effect in July of 2022
  • Committee will be reaching out to trainers to assess need for online training vs. in-person training in the next 12 months; renewal with online provider – Brainshark – is sensitive to use

At the April 2021 Board of Directors meeting the Marketing & Communications Committee provided a quarterly report on website traffic and newsletter analytics. 

Other priorities for the Marketing & Communications Committee include:

  • Committee review of Sponsorship Support Services, new revenue source for TEAM that would begin with fiscal year starting in October 2021
  • Vote on new logo as part of branding refresh
  • Brainstorm ideas for an annual special project for TEAM Coalition

The Governance & Finance Committee presented two key reports.

  • Monthly financial review presented by Lester Jones, Treasurer
  • Oversees committee member surveys to ensure committees are on track with the Strategic Plan

The Membership Committee shared the tiered membership proposal with the Board of Directors at the April 2021 Meeting. The Board approved the proposal. TEAM Coalition membership will vote on the proposal at the June membership meeting. Click here to register for the June 9, 2021 meeting.

Other short-term priorities include:

  • Establishing menu of options for consumer programs
  • Collaborating with the Marketing and Communications Committee on brainstorming ideas for an annual special project for TEAM Coalition
