TEAM Coalition was invited to participate for its eleventh year in the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in Las Vegas, NV on April 7-10. TEAM joined other non-profit organizations from around the country at the public service booth in the exhibit hall to offer its designated driver PSAs to broadcast professionals from around the world.
The NAB show is a four-day event that brings together over 100,000 media and entertainment professionals from over 150 countries to the Las Vegas Convention Center. It is a great opportunity for non-profit organizations to gather and share their ideas of public service to a broad audience. This year TEAM distributed PSA USB Drives that included general PSAs encouraging all sports fans to be responsible, as well as selected PSAs from the NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, and MLS.
TEAM Coalition’s materials are also highlighted on the NAB web site highlighting public service called Spot Center.
“The National Association of Broadcasters values its long-standing partnership with TEAM Coalition. Through public awareness materials created by TEAM Coalition, America’s broadcasters are able to help create a safe and family-friendly environment at sporting and entertainment facilities in their local communities.” Said Dennis Wharton, Executive Vice President of the National Association of Broadcasters.
It was a great opportunity for TEAM to network and share ideas with other organizations that are all dedicated to public service. TEAM looks forward to returning to Las Vegas in April of 2015 for the NAB show once again.
