Responsible Fans Rewarded at Milwaukee Bucks Game

01/18/2016

While the Milwaukee Bucks dominated on the court with respective wins versus the Dallas Mavericks on January 8, 2016 and the Atlanta Hawks on January 15, 2016, responsible Bucks fans received rewards for taking the pledge to be responsible. “Last Call of the Game. Get Home Safe.” was the message at the BMO Harris Bradley Center and over 200 Bucks fans made the pledge either to be the designated driver for their group or to never drive drunk and always have a designated driver.

All the responsible fans had the opportunity to autograph a 10-foot tall basketball, grab Coors Light giveaways and receive a free souvenir photo. Thank you to the hundreds of responsible Bucks fans for taking the pledge!

We believe that with great beer comes great responsibility and we’re thrilled to partner with the Bucks and TEAM Coalition to help promote responsibility at hockey events. For many fans, enjoying a beer on game day is part of the hockey experience, and we want to encourage fans to enjoy the game responsibly and plan ahead for a safe ride home.Diane Wagner, Responsibility Commerce Manager, MillerCoors
The success of the ‘Responsibility Has Its Rewards’ campaign is a direct result of the commitment from our members and all the responsibility program partners, including the leagues, teams, venues, brewers and beer distributors. Teamwork is what this campaign is all about. We are demonstrating that when everyone – including the fans – takes responsibility, everyone wins.Jill Pepper, Executive Director, TEAM Coalition

Drunk driving prevention is the top priority for TEAM Coalition and all its 24-member organizations, which include the NBA and MillerCoors.
