Fans who attended the Jacksonville Jaguars game versus the Baltimore Ravens at Wembley Stadium on Sunday September 24, 2017 enjoyed the first of four NFL games played in London this season. And they showed tremendous support for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Bud Light Good Sport Designated Driver Challenge by embracing the responsibility message – Make a Plan to Make it Home. Fans who pledged to never drive drunk autographed a responsibility wall and received a free souvenir photo.
One lucky fan was selected among all those who participated as the Responsible Fan of the Game. The winner, Natalie McCloud from London and her guest, each received a Jaguars vs Ravens commemorative t-shirt and a Jaguars beanie.
Every photograph taken was posted on Facebook with the hashtag #ResponsibleJags. Each post earned the Jaguars an “extra point” (1 point) in the Responsibility Bowl, a league-wide tournament encouraging responsible fan behavior with respect to alcohol. The Jags face the Cleveland Browns in Round 2.
US DOT / NHTSA 2015 NATIONAL DATA:
• In 2015, 10,265 people were killed as a result of alcohol-related (BAC > 0.08) car crashes, an increase of 3.2% from the 9,943 fatalities in 2014.
• Many, if not most of those lives would have been saved if people did not drive when they were impaired by alcohol or if they used sober, designated drivers or if they simply wore their seat belts.
• Statistics and research clearly show that 21-34 year old males are the demographic most likely to be involved in an automobile crash
