FAN EDUCATION
TEAM Coalition and the National Basketball Association are supporting the designated driver programs at all NBA arenas during the 2013-2014 season with a special incentive. Every arena offers fans a designated driver booth program. Fans who register to be a designated driver pledge to not drink alcohol, drive their friends and family home safely, and ensure that everyone always buckles up.
At the end of the season, one designated driver representing each NBA team will be selected. The NBA Designated Drivers for the Season representing the teams playing in the 2014 NBA Finals will each receive a grand prize of two (2) tickets to the first game of the 2014 NBA Finals® played in the arena of their favorite team.

RESPONSIBILITY HAS ITS REWARDS CAMPAIGN
The Responsibility Has Its Rewards campaign promotes positive fan behavior, responsible alcohol consumption, and the designated driver program at sports and entertainment facilities. Partners in the campaign include NHTSA – the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, state offices of highway safety, professional and collegiate sports, entertainment facilities, concessionaires, stadium service providers, the beer industry, and broadcasters.
The campaign offers sweepstakes and marketing events to promote the messages of traffic safety, responsible alcohol consumption, and positive fan behavior.
