Alexandria, VA (September 23, 2011) TEAM Coalition was invited to participate in the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Radio Show in Chicago, IL. on September 14-16. TEAM joined other non-profit organizations from around the country at the public service booth in the exhibit hall to offer its designated driver radio PSAs to broadcast professionals from around the world.
The NAB radio show is a three-day event that brings together radio broadcasters and entertainment professionals to the Hyatt Regency Chicago Downtown Convention Center. It was a great opportunity for non-profit organizations to gather and share their ideas of public service to a broad audience. This year TEAM distributed banded ÒFans DonÕt Let Fans Drive DrunkÓ flash drives that included selected radio PSAs from the NFL, MLB, MLS and the NBA.
“The National Association of Broadcasters values its long-standing partnership with TEAM Coalition. Through public awareness materials created by TEAM Coalition, America’s broadcasters are able to help create a safe and family-friendly environment at sporting and entertainment facilities in their local communities.” Said Dennis Wharton, Executive Vice President of the National Association of Broadcasters.
It was a great opportunity for TEAM to network and share ideas with other organizations that are all dedicated to public service. TEAM looks forward to being a part of the 2012 NAB Radio Show in Dallas, TX.
