AMERICROWN AND TEAM COALITION
Americrown joined TEAM Coalition in November of 2015. In 2016, Vice President Rishi Nigam joined the TEAM Coalition Board of Directors as the Chairman of the training committee. In the same year, 103 employees of three NASCAR tracks serviced by Americrown became TEAM-certified.
Originally formed in 1989 by Lesa France Kennedy, Chief Executive Officer of International Speedway Corporation, Americrown is the leader in motorsports catering and concessions. Operating at 11 NASCAR-sanctioned tracks nationwide, Americrown engages with millions of race fans annually and employs thousands of employees at the following tracks:
- Auto Club Speedway
- Homestead-Miami Speedway
- Darlington Raceway
- Daytona International Speedway
- Kansas Speedway
- Martinsville Speedway
- Michigan International Speedway
- Phoenix International Raceway
- Richmond International Raceway
- Talladega Superspeedway
- Watkins Glen International
All 11 tracks offered the TEAM Coalition designated driver program during the 2016 NASCAR season for 18 Sprint Cup Series races. A total of 3,922 fans pledged to be designated drivers at those races. As a TEAM member organization, Americrown will expand the reach of TEAM’s responsibility messages by engaging more employees in alcohol management training and more guests of NASCAR races in the designated driver program and other responsibility initiatives.
